Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

Scope: This notice supplements our Privacy Policy. It applies if information you provide to Movviva is considered "consumer health data" under applicable law. Movviva is a general fitness and wellness service, not a medical provider.

1. Consumer health data we may collect

Depending on how you use the Services, consumer health data may include:

  • fitness and wellness goals;
  • Movement Profile answers, such as activity level, confidence, mobility priorities, schedule, and training location;
  • workout plans, assigned tracks, focus blocks, and equipment settings;
  • workout logs, including sets, reps, weights, duration, effort/RPE, completion status, missed workouts, and notes;
  • general mobility, strength, balance, conditioning, and consistency information;
  • communications you send us that relate to fitness or wellness; and
  • device or integration data if future features allow you to connect third-party services and you choose to do so.

Movviva is not designed to collect medical records, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, pain-management, or emergency information. Please do not submit that information through the Services.

2. Sources of consumer health data

We collect consumer health data directly from you, from your use of the Services, from workout logs or preferences you enter, and from third-party integrations only if you choose to connect them in the future.

3. Why we collect and use consumer health data

We collect and use consumer health data to:

  • provide general fitness, strength, mobility, and wellness services;
  • generate Movement Profile results, training tracks, equipment swaps, progression recommendations, and weekly recaps;
  • maintain workout history and show progress;
  • support safety rules, including pausing activity and referring out when concerning symptoms are reported;
  • provide customer support;
  • improve, debug, secure, and analyze the Services;
  • create aggregated or de-identified insights; and
  • comply with law and enforce our terms.

4. Sharing of consumer health data

We may share consumer health data with service providers that help us operate the Services, such as hosting, database, authentication, email, analytics, payment, support, security, video, and AI-assistance providers, subject to appropriate restrictions. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or safety, in a business transfer, or with your consent.

We do not sell consumer health data. We do not use consumer health data for targeted advertising. We do not provide employers or Teams customers with individual workout logs or Movement Profile details unless you expressly authorize it or law requires it.

5. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to confirm whether we collect, share, or sell consumer health data; access that data; request deletion; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision. To make a request, email [email protected].

We will respond as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

6. No geofencing around healthcare facilities

Movviva does not use geofencing around healthcare facilities to identify, track, collect data from, or send messages to consumers based on visits to those facilities.

7. Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as appropriate.
